Great Lent Projects : |
We are going to enter in to the Great lent. Great lent is a very good period for us to grow
spiritually. Prayer, Bible reading, self-examination, confession, receiving of the Holy
Eucharist, and alms giving are the main aspects of spiritual growth. The church arranges
the Bible reading calendar and schedules the canonical prayers in such a way to help us in
this spiritual growth.
Click for some concrete suggestions about what to do during this lent.
There are seven Sundays in the great lent before Easter Sunday.
Each Sunday, except Palm Sunday, through the gospel reading we hear one of the
miracles of our Lord. The aim of this project is to make you familiar with
those passages and their parallel passages and understand the significance of
that miracle and try to apply it in your spiritual life.
This project is for the junior and senior students of our church. This project is given in seven sections – one section per
week. The due date for the project will be the following Sunday.
